Our award-winning sand animation artist Ms. Khairullina Alina is a graduate of the Art and Graphic Faculty of the Novosibirsk State Pedagogical University.
In early 2010 Alina started her career as a professional sand animation artist, sharing the beauty, uniqueness, and refinement of this art with spectators, clients, and students around the world. More than 2000 sand animation videos and more than 1000 live sand animation performances on various stages worldwide are accomplished by the talented artist. Alina is not only producing exclusive sand animation masterpieces for various occasions but is also sharing her knowledge and skills. She is the manager of an international sand animation online school for adults as well as the founder of her own studio of sand animation for children.
Besides that, Alina participated in numerous international exhibitions called « Out of time » and created outstanding sand animation videos in Germany, France, Israel, Turkey, Japan, and United States. Moreover, for over 5 years Alina is organizing a very magical children’s sand animation festival called « Magic ».
Her active contribution and recognition are not over there. In 2019 Alina organized a famous international sand animation festival « Dune 2019 », where artists from all over the world demonstrated a world-class level of excellence in sand animation.
In addition, Alina is the 2nd winner of the 5th national youth forum, where her efforts and creativity took her to the highest-ranked artist level and was recognized by a presidential grant.
Last but not least, Alina is the winner of international competitions: “Musa Jalil Award» and «The Genius of the Epoch ».
Elena was born in Voronezh, Russia. She graduated at the Voronezh Art College. Subsequently, she took training courses at the Academy for Aquarelle and Visual Arts in Moscow. Elena works as an artist and designer. She has worked as an artistic director of the children’s studio “Gems”. The essence of her work with children can be described as “discover your inner artist”. She has been painting with sand since 2009. Elena is a member of the jury of international competitions for child creativity. She is also a member of charity workshops for children and adults. Over the years, many sand stories have been created, among other things, for commercials, sand videos, and live performances. Several theatre productions have been enriched with Elena’s decorations painted in sand.

Andy is one of the leading sand artists. Andy is from Nizhny Novgorod. There, he completed an arts degree at the university.
His artistic path began in his childhood. Initially, he drew animals, which later resulted in entire image compositions.
Andy specialized in impressive sand animation techniques, aquanimation (art of “marbling” or “ebru”) and light animation (similar to sand animation – creating astonishing stories on screen in an interplay of light and shade).
Since 2011 he has been devoted exclusively to sand and light painting.

Polina was born in Kemerovo (Russia) in 1985. She studied art at the pedagogical art college in Russia. After graduation, she experimented with different artistic forms, before she decided upon sand painting. Sometimes she also paints with light, whereby she tells unique stories in her lightshows. She started her career in sand and light painting in 2009 in St. Petersburg. Since then she performed with her sand art at various concerts, gala events as well as theatres.

Olga was born in Kharkov, Ukraine. Since she was a little girl, she was very interested in art. Stemmed from a hobby, art became a passion which was made into her career. For Olga, sand painting is a means of personal expression and an artistic depiction of emotions and experiences. She started her career as a sand artist in 2011.

Elena was born on December 7th, 1982 in the Russian city of Izhevsk.
Ever since she was a young child, Elena has been painting with great passion. In 2000, she mastered her artistic skills at the Art Academy in Izhevsk and graduated from the Faculty of Marketing and Design in 2005. Subsequently, she studied sand painting at the European School of Art in Moscow from 2011 to 2012.
From 2012 to 2013, she was the leader of the installation of various feature films and TV series.
Elena is in close cooperation with numerous creative associations and sand art studios. In addition, Elena is an important member of the jury of the all-Russian Children’s Festival sand animation “Children of Sand” (2016) and the Regional Kids’ Competition for Sand Painting (2016). As such, not only does she perform her passion professionally, but she also passes on skills to the next generation and fosters talent.

In her childhood, Julia already loved drawing and spent much time with it. After she finished art school, she was admitted at the University of Arts, where she obtained her degree in graphic design. Subsequently, she worked on various art techniques. She was particularly drawn by watercolour and batik. In addition, she studied at the Academy of Arts at the Faculty of Easel Graphics in Kharkov. There, Julia deepened her skills in engraving, linocut and the painting with charcoal and ink.
In her search for a possibility to express emotions and feelings artistically, she finally came across sand painting.
She was immediately fascinated by the simplicity and the unpredictability, the smooth lines and silhouettes and the transformation from sand in paintings.
In 2010, she entered a studio for sand art and acquired techniques of this unique art form. From then on, she devoted herself entirely to sand painting.

Tanya is 28 years old and completed her Art Education training with distinction at the Novosibirsk State Pedagogical University, Russia, with focus on painting. She drew her entire life and made a career out of her greatest passion.
Since she was 18 she taught art. Throughout her career, Tatjana had developed several programmes for many different art forms and disciplines. With the help of the innovative software, the development of creative potential of children and adults should be supported. Her personal concern regarding this programme is to bring art closer to people who barely draw and who are not very interested in art. This is aimed to be achieved in one or two sessions at professional level. Of course, the creative work with sand plays the leading role in this training.

Evgenia was born in the Ukrainian capital of Kiev.
From 2002 to 2008, she studied Design and Arts at the State Academy in Kharkov. This Faculty fostered her talent and her creativity and enabled her the beginning as a trained sand artist in 2014.
From 2008 to 2014, Evgenia was employed in the sector of graphic design where she gathered experiences in the areas of creativity, sand painting, design and her work with various television stations. As such, every newly acquired skill contributed to something special and important in her life and made it possible for her to merge these in her sand art. Therefore, her art can be viewed as a mixture of different influences of cinema, painting, drawing and love for creativity. Evgenia is a certified sand artist and she actively participates at various artistic activities.

Alla was born on November 28th, 1976 in the Russian city of Murom.
Ever since she can remember, she painted at every opportunity. Her attention was drawn to creative experimenting with various artistic materials. Her first works were based on watercolour, acrylic, oil and pastel chalk. After some time, she experimented with ceramics and clay. Finally, she discovered sand as the ideal material for her artistic expression. The natural plasticity and the breath of eternity of sand were to remain vital in her and she focused on sand painting completely ever since.
In 1990, Alla began training at the Art School in Nizhny Novgorod in Russia. Afterwards, she completed her training at the University of Gzhel at the Faculty of Ceramics with Honours. To combine her skills in art and design, she educated herself further at the Academy of Marketing Management and Art Design. Her especially developed sand technique includes realistic portraits and drawing technique which show her distinctive style.
